1835 H10C Large Date, Large 5C, AU50

A rare example of elusive rainbow toning on a vintage piece. One of very few pieces in the type to exhibit natural toning to such a degree. Obverse presents rich blue hues on the field; a truly one-of-a-kind toning in stark contrast to the majority of steel grey examples. Reverse shines with a dazzling rainbow gradient ranging from soft red at the exterior to bright blue in the center; a spectauclar display. Specimen portrays strong strike on the major details for the grade. Exceptional eye appeal coupled with a more niche series of the half dime - a type collector would be most pleased to have in their collection or portfolio.
